The 24" Fantom Light is a teen bike with everything superfluous taken out. An aluminium frame in a 12.5" size and a rigid aluminium fork instead of a suspension one shave almost a kilogram off the bike: it is easier to get moving at the lights and easier to carry over the top of a climb. Seven speeds and a Shimano ARDTY200GSLD derailleur give exactly the range a city profile actually uses, without duplicate gears. V-Brake brakes behave predictably in any weather and are serviced in a minute — pads come out without removing the wheel. Two finishes: graphite with lime graphics and light metallic with pink and blue. The frame size suits riders 130–145 cm tall. The Fantom Light is a bike for a teenager who rides every day, not only at weekends.
