The 26" Black Stone is a compact mountain bike on a short 13" frame for teenagers and shorter adults. The 140–155 cm range is exactly where adult frames are already too big and 24" teen wheels are already too small: 26" closes that gap without turning the bike into an oversized one. A ZOOM 386A suspension fork with an alloy crown and steel legs soaks up broken tarmac and roots, and mechanical disc brakes deliver the same force on a descent and after mud. Seven speeds with a Shimano RD-M300D derailleur mean minimal setup and plenty of reserve for a climb. Two finishes: a restrained graphite and black, and a loud grey and orange with an orange fork and rim stripe. The Black Stone 26 is a first proper mountain bike, not a scaled-down copy of an adult one.
