Warranty policy

At Hartman Bike we stand behind the quality of our bikes. This Warranty Policy describes the terms of warranty service.

1. Warranty period

   Frame and fork:

   The warranty on the frame and fork is 2 years from the date of purchase. It covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

   Components:

   The warranty on components (brakes, derailleurs, pedals and so on) is 1 year from the date of purchase. It covers manufacturing defects.

2. What the warranty covers

   Manufacturing defects:

   The warranty covers defects in materials, workmanship and assembly discovered during normal use of the bike.

   What the warranty does not cover:

   The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by improper use, crashes or accidents.

   How to obtain warranty service:

   To obtain warranty service, contact our service centre with your proof of purchase and a description of the problem.

   Warranty conditions:

   The warranty is valid only if the proof of purchase is retained and the bike is used in accordance with the operating instructions.

3. Warranty exclusions

   Not covered by the warranty:

   Normal wear of components (tyres, brake pads, chain, sprockets), damage caused by improper use, accidents, crashes or falls.

   Modifications:

   The warranty does not apply to bikes that have been modified or repaired by unauthorised service centres.

4. Warranty service procedure

   To obtain warranty service, contact our service centre with the original proof of purchase and a detailed description of the problem. Our specialists will carry out a diagnosis and decide on warranty repair or replacement.
